LECHLER SPAT O RAPID 1K STOPPER

This Lechler stopper is one of my absolute favourite consumables to use, and I reach for it on nearly every single job. It is a professional-grade 1K spot putty formulated specifically for automotive restoration, allowing you to skim over pinholes, light sand scratches, and minor imperfections with total ease.

My go-to method is using a razor blade to apply the stopper directly after your primer stage to fill in any tiny remaining scratches, chips, or surface imperfections. Because it is a 1K product, there is no mixing required, just squeeze a small amount out and press it tightly into the flaw. It dries incredibly fast with minimal shrinkage. After a quick flatting with P500 grade wet and dry paper, the repair is perfectly flush, smooth, and ready to be primed or painted right over. 

It is an incredibly handy workshop staple to have on standby when working on your projects, ensuring those tiny final flaws never ruin your topcoat finish.
